Aintree Village Neighbourhood Watch
Our group was formed in 2004 as a result of an initiative by Merseyside Police.
Since then we have been very pro-active, working with residents and dealing with problems such as youth disorder and anti-social behaviour. We, along with the Parish and Borough Councillors, fought a protracted fight over the licensing hours of the old "Valentine Pub". This resulted in the new management running the pub under the new name of "The Village Inn" and they have been successful in ridding the venue of its previous unsavoury activities.
All residents are welcome to attend our meetings, held at Harrow Drive Council Chamber in Harrow Park Drive. If you cannot attend but would like to inform us of anything please leave details in our box situated in Aintree Library.
Our meetings are held on a Thursday commencing at 7pm. Dates for the rest of the year: September 2nd, November 4th Our Annual General Meeting will be held in January at a venue and date yet to be arranged.
